About
The project idea is to support the arts in multiple ways. It is to help not-well-known fantasy authors, help their stories be enjoyed, and small animation companies with funding.
For decades I have read and audio-booked fantasy stories and have often thought a lot of the material could be a great movie.
A few bits here and there to help a story move along, but NOT rushed.
Fantasy stories need drawings/animation not in-person production.
Some obviously known material has been done, but there are hundreds of fantasy series out there waiting to be known and loved.
Do you want a 250 page book from a friend you might never read, or a 3-6 hour episodic series to introduce you or a friend to an author's world book by book?

With added bonus of choosing character type. More communication for your portrait picture and your script, male & female characters.

- Master characters are through many parts of the book, many episodes, and likely through books. If no master characters are available, you will have priority request for main characters.
- Likely possibility of being added in likeness to multiple movies if desired, you could choose a title or genre to be added into.
- High consideration in recommending a series to help set to animation with the right company assist.

IF you decide to donate, thank you so much for wanting to help bring the project to life.
Donations to the project are tax-deductible, PLEASE check tax options for the year as you plan, I can not help you other than check your standard deduction and usual deductions to see if you can deduct it.
If you know nothing of what I mean in the last sentence, look it up.
Donations will be gathered through a non-profit named Fractured Atlas who was generous enough to help us with the project. Donating is rewarded with some fun stuff! It will include an art packet of the animation and materials for memorabilia, and in certain brackets, episodes when they are made, options likeness of self (if desired, agreement pending) within animation as characters in the story, of not just side characters, but main ones as well, or even voice-acting (if desired, pending authorization from animators and owner of project).

Expected Communication
Lit2Animate will NOT...
- Ask directly for cash, western union, or money order through this site
- Email you from "other" or "secondary" accounts asking for money directly.
- Request funding through ANY payment apps without directly speaking by skype, zoom, or webex.
- Use ANY other email accounts or social media before updating here, and I will update often.
Lit2Animate WILL...
- Be cautious/professional in emails to anyone, and any investing will involve video chat, so if you see typing errors, or badly incorrect grammar in English, it is likely not for the project, or through me.
- Prior to any investment, insist on speaking electronically over Skype, Zoom, or Webex, and ensure validity for the project. English language only.
- I am an American citizen, the animation companies and authors I deal with are American-based and employed. I do not employ foreign labor to ask for donors or investment. (I can not promise all work will be produced and processed in the United States, or by US citizens. I do not manage animation companies, but I will do what I can for American-based animation.)

Why is Lit2Animate Doing This?
I love the material and want to see it on screen.
I want to give friends/family a series of a book in DVD to be seen, very few read 250-page books anymore.
I don't want "based on books" movies, I want a book in video, shorter, to the point, and fun! I want the book to share, and fans want the book to share!
Fan loved material, none of this "based on" stuff changing the story.
When everything works, will do this full time with more stories and projects, all to mostly help animation companies and authors.
"Not-Profit-in-Demand"
Why?
These projects are to help the author who has written interesting stories, and to help small animation companies work. I am just trying to help fund the two art genres and eventually see the product.
We have however found a fiscal sponsor non-profit company that can help with the current and possible additional projects. They will keep me, and the projects honest in artistic benefits over profit.
Current times don't make things easy for small businesses, and mega-companies are the only ones that have dozens of projects and won't work on someone's material.
Authors will be involved and rights will be authorized. We plan to stay true to the author's work, unlike many "based on book" movies.
The plan is to give a cut of profit to authors and animators that help me bring their work to life, and perhaps start the next project.
